This policy (together with website ASCIC terms and conditions and any other documents referred to on it) sets out the basis on which ASCIC will process any personal data collected from or provided by you. For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998 (the Act), the data controller is ASCIC

Although ASCIC will do its best to protect your personal data, ASCIC cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to the Site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once ASCIC have received your information, strict procedures and security features will be adhered to, to try and prevent unauthorised access.

The Act gives you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the Act. Any access request will be subject to a fee of £10 to meet the costs in providing you with details of the information ASCIC hold about you.
