Jane O’Toole Podcast speaker

With an extensive background spanning over 15 years in Procurement/Supply Chain and Contract
Management positions in both the U.K and New Zealand (NZ), Jane emerges as a seasoned leader
and accomplished procurement professional. Holding the distinguished title of Fellow at the
Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply, Jane fervently drives the industry forward by
introducing innovative ideas to address current and future global challenges. Serving as the Chair
for the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply committee (CIPS) in Christchurch NZ, Jane
also recently assumed the role of a judge for the CIPS ANZ Australasian awards. Additionally, she is
an active member of the NZ Procurement Excellence Forum.
Throughout her career, Jane has taken on pivotal roles such as Head of Procurement, successfully
overseeing procurements across various categories, including projects amounting to billions of
dollars in infrastructure. She has effectively managed large teams, exerted influence, and instigated
policy changes. Currently, Jane serves as the Procurement Practice Lead for Pareto-Toolbox in New
Zealand.
Beyond her professional endeavours, Jane is deeply passionate about fostering a sustainable planet
for future generations. Her commitment to social and environmental outcomes earned her the
prestigious “Great Kaitiaki Champion award” at the 2018 Christchurch International Airport
ceremony for implementing a new procurement framework.
