Ricky Ho — Founder & CEO, SourceReady
Ricky Ho is a Forbes 30 Under 30 entrepreneur who has founded multiple companies and worked in the supply chain industry for over a decade. Growing up around large-scale manufacturing for some of the world’s most recognized fashion brands, he saw firsthand how the $4 trillion sourcing industry still relies on outdated, relationship-driven processes. Smaller companies, in particular, often lack the reach, data, and experienced teams needed to find high-quality, compliant, and sustainable suppliers.
At 15, Ricky developed Matterstream, an award-winning urban capsule freight system that earned him five patents and third place at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair. He studied Industrial Engineering & Operations Research at UC Berkeley before leaving to focus full-time on building businesses. At 19, he founded Treelab, a supply chain ERP designed to replace the scattered mix of emails, spreadsheets, and messaging apps that most companies still use to work with suppliers. Backed by over $22 million from Sequoia Capital, GGV Capital, and Tencent, Treelab became a trusted collaboration platform before Ricky exited at 23.
Today, he leads SourceReady, an AI-powered supplier search engine building the intelligence and data layer for global trade. SourceReady draws from hundreds of trusted sources—including customs data, government registries, certification databases, ESG disclosures, and compliance records—to help businesses of any size find and verify the right suppliers. With AI agents handling outreach, due diligence, and negotiation, the platform makes sourcing more transparent, compliant, ESG-conscious, and efficient.
Ricky’s mission is to level the playing field in global commerce so that small and emerging businesses can access the same quality and capabilities as the largest companies—making global trade faster, more transparent, and more inclusive.
