By 2006, Shaun had left corporate life to take a role as Chair of the Commission for a Sustainable London 2012. He founded Action Sustainability at the same time. The political pressure for the London 2012 Olympics was huge, Shaun’s role as independent arbiter of the commitment to deliver the “most sustainable Games ever” saw him at the centre of this debate. It led to major changes inspired by the Games.
