Luca Guzzabocca webinar speaker / Translator

A highly respected professional in his field, Luca has 27 years of procurement and supply management experience. He’s served numerous Italian and multinational companies, including Esa Elettronica, Gewiss, Vemer, Black & Decker, Riello Group, GlaxoSmithKline and Gruppo Montepaschi.

His procurement activities, involving both production and non-production materials and services, have spanned several market sectors, including electronic devices; residential and industrial electrical networking products; air conditioning and heating systems; electric power tools; pharmaceuticals and banking.

Almost 15 years of experience in design and implementation of sustainable supply chains.

Luca has been co-founder and co-chairman of the not-for-profit Italian organisation “Acquisti & Sostenibilità”, a unique organization established in 2007 to inspire sustainable and responsible procurement, supply chain and business practices across Italian enterprises.

In 2012, Luca started his engagement in sustainability practices across sport sector.

In 2014 he has experienced the design and implementation for F.I.M. (International Federation of Motorcycling) of an ad-hoc sustainable event framework for motorcycling sector, called  “K.i.S.S – Keep it Shiny and Sustainable”, then he became the advisor of Mugello Circuit and Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli for the K.I.S.S. framework execution during MotoGP events (the top class of motorcycling discipline).

After this Luca and his Right Hub team developed in 2018 a similar programme for “ETRC- European Truck Racing Championship” and worked in 2019 for the ISO 20121 certification achievement of “EICMA – International Cycle, Motorcycle and Accessories Exhibition” and of Mugello Circuit.

 

Since 2015 Luca is Founder and General Manager of Right Hub, an Italian company born to:

 

  • boost the social procurement and supplier diversity programmes in Italy,
  • support companies to achieve the compliance with the mandatory workers with disability inclusion Italian Law 68/99,
  • design and implement environmental and social sustainability management across supply chains (also according to ISO 20400 – Sustainable Procurement Guideline),
  • design and implement sustainable management system of events, locations, organizers and suppliers (according to ISO 20121 – Sustainable Event Management Standard and ad-hoc framework).
